MOFAS in Your Community
There are currently innovative FASD grant programs in over half of the counties in Minnesota, helping meet the needs of families and professionals across the state. These grants span efforts in prevention, screening, diagnosis, public awareness and family support activities.

These 12 grant proposals demonstrate good planning, promotion, partners and implementation of the 049 (Zero Alcohol for Nine Months) message for their events and campaigns. The following grantees will be integrating the MOFAS prenatal screening tool into their current practice and developing a clinic-wide plan on how to address when a patient is drinking during pregnancy. There are a lot of agencies out there who are helping individuals affected by FASD every day. We want to work closer with them! In July of 2011, MOFAS awarded 6 grants to organizations to expand on their current support opportunities.
