FASD Impacts Us All….

Health care providers, educators, caregivers, social workers, justice system workers, police officers, chemical dependency workers, policy makers and the list goes on.

The Minnesota Organization on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (MOFAS) is the leading source of training and resources for all organizations and agencies that provides services to individuals or families with or at risk of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD), to ensure that FASD is better understood.

Healthcare Providers

You play a critical role in advising pregnant patients not to drink alcohol during their pregnancy.  Often times, you are the first touch-point during their pregnancy, and are a big influence on many moms-to-be.  MOFAS encourages you to talk to your patients at every visit, especially women 18-44 about their alcohol use during pregnancy.  Give them the U.S. Surgeon General’s clear, consistent message that there is no safe amount of alcohol during pregnancy.

The MOFAS 049 Campaign – Zero Alcohol for Nine Months print materials are available for use in your office to support this message. For FREE posters and brochures, contact amanda@mofas.org. Click here to see what’s available!
