We believe that education on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) is extremely important to the MOFAS mission. FASD is an umbrella term describing the range of effects that can occur in an individual whose mother drank alcohol during pregnancy. These effects may include physical, mental, behavioral, and/or learning disabilities with possible lifelong implications. New to MOFAS and FASD? Check the Education Materials link below for printable handouts and other resources that provide education on FASD. MOFAS has also developed a statewide listing of resources to better serve Minnesota individuals and families affected by FASD. Check the Resource Directory link below to find resources available in your region of Minnesota.
