To provide accessible, consistent diagnostic services for individuals who may have FASD in order to determine scope and extent of FASD.
Intervention and Support for Individuals with FASD:
To enhance the ability of communities, schools, and families to respond to the needs of an individual with FASD through appropriate and effective interventions, support, and training.
Public Awareness:
To develop a comprehensive multi-tiered approach to reach youth, women of childbearing age, pregnant women and their families, and the general public with specific messages related to prenatal alcohol consumption.
Professional Education:
To develop and implement a comprehensive multidisciplinary professional education program targeted at providers who work with individuals with FASD and their families.
Community Grants:
To support community-based alcohol use prevention and intervention initiatives with individuals who have FASD.
