Speakers Bureau
The Bureau consists of MOFAS staff and approximately 29 volunteer speakers who provide FASD information to audiences in both the public and private sectors. The speakers help to promote the MOFAS mission and vision statement. They also act as educators, public awareness individuals and connectors to resources.
The speakers come from a variety of backgrounds and many have personal experience with FASD—either a family member or friend is affected by it or they work with those affected. MOFAS Speakers are parents, medical professionals, educators, trainers, and other types of professionals.
Our website contains a biography of each of our speakers. To meet our qualified speakers, click here.
If you would like to request FASD training from MOFAS, please email training@mofas.org and a training representative will respond to you within 2 business days.
Each speaker has a kit of training materials which includes a DVD of a basic FASD PowerPoint presentation, related handouts and other materials. MOFAS has many presentations which are geared toward various audiences and at varying levels of difficulty. MOFAS tries to match the speaker and the PowerPoint to the audience.
