Strategies for Families and Providers Caring for Individuals with an FASD and Other Neurodiverse Conditions
The Minnesota Organization on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome is teaming with Hennepin County to present a seminar designed for family respite providers in Hennepin County that care for individuals with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD).
This training includes the FASD basics, exploring the challenges someone with an FASD may face and the “red flag” signs and risks with known or suspected prenatal alcohol exposure. Lastly, we will provide general, effective strategies for supporting individuals with an FASD.
There is no cost to attend the session, and a light meal will be provided. Childcare and certificates of attendance are available. Space is limited for this event. Register today!
