  • “Journey Through the Healing Circle” – This award winning educational series, to help parents and children work with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, is now available to parents, schools, libraries and other social services. It is available in a series of videotapes, video CDs, and professionally illustrated workbooks. The series is narrated by Native American Storyteller Floyd Red Crow Westerman, who uses animal stories to talk about children with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS) and the problems families face with these effects.

FASD Videos

  • “#FASDtoolkit” is a community generated media campaign about Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD), created by and for the American Indian community. The toolkit aims to plant the seeds for conversations, by focusing on strength-based messages, strategies and tools to support a good life for people living on the FASD spectrum.
  • “The Listening Heart” video is a new educational documentary that chronicles the day to day challenges of children, parents, and families who struggle with the consequences of Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.
  • “Recovering Hope: Mothers Speak Out About Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders” – Video and DVD are available free from SAMHSA. Features a series of women who tell poignant and memorable stories about alcohol use during pregnancy and its effect on their children.
  • “Redefining Success: Raising Children Exposed Prenatally to Alcohol” – Video and users guide. The main focus is families who are interested in or have adopted children who have been exposed prenatally to alcohol.
